Education
CHRIST LUTHERAN EVANGELICAL CHURCH offers classes in Christian education for all ages with an emphasis on God’s grace.
Sunday School for children aged 3 -12 years is held every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. (with the exception of the fifth Sunday of the month. When this occurs we have a joint service bringing together our German and English language members of all ages). We have Sunday School classes, with a team of teachers for each class:
We begin our class time using the Life Together Curiculum (Augsburg Fortress Press). At 9:40 am, we gather around the piano and sing for ten minutes under Susan Skinner's direction, after which we file into the church for a brief Children's Sermon and then join our families for the opportunity to participate in Holy Communion.

Our confirmation classes focus on the studies of the Old and New Testament. We also explore the meaning of the Sacraments, The Creed and the Ten Commandments. Being actively involved in worship is part of our Confirmation program. We also look to our Confirmation classes for our Acolytes. This program is a two year course.
Confirmation I classes
Open to Grade 6 students, meets Wednesday evenings starting in late September until May at 6:30 pm. Once a month, students share dinner together at 6:00 pm prior to classes commencing.
Confirmation II classes
For Grade 7 students, meets every other Wednesday starting in mid-September until May, also from 6:30 to 7:45 pm.
Confirmation Camp
Participation in this summer program by our BC Synod is highly recommended and expected of our Confirmands.
